Joshua, I agree with you. If people just do 1 or 2 items of this list, their page ranking will def increase.

I had a Blogger site, but I found that Wordpress is so much better. The Wordpress plugins are great additions to your page and so much fun to use. They give the professional look that every page should have.

One of the better top 10 lists I’ve seen on the subject, guys! Do you notice the pattern? What all of these have in common is simply this: It’s all about providing value for your users.

If you can provide unique, original value you can succeed. None of the items on the list are particularly difficult, but 97% of the people out there will not do any of them.

If you can manage to do even one or two of the items on a regular, consistent basis, you’ll see improvement in your business.

And Joan, I agree about using Wordpress. It simply can’t be beat for its ease of use, features, and capabilities. And Google seems to reward Wordpress-powered pages (even though the own Blogger!).

Again, great post. I’ve spent the evening adding my blog (I use Google blogger) to several social websites as well as my website and my photo gallery.

And you’re so right about Twitter. I’ve met so many people around the globe who’ve given valuable advice and feedback. One person helped me update my site and I got so many raves from visitors that I sent my Tweet pal a box of chocolates.
