I just received a newsletter email from dogTEC with great advice on what to include in your pet business testimonials. Effective testimonials should include:

  1. Person’s Full Name. And preferably location as well. It’s a matter of believability.
  2. Specificity. “Simon is an awesome dog trainer!” with a full name below and maybe even a small photo of the client with her dog is a great quote to have on your Training Services page. But on the Testimonial page, the ideal is to have more detail: “We thought we’d never be able to walk Tabitha on leash without her barking and lunging at other dogs, but after working with Katherine, neighborhood strolls are again a pleasant part of our lives.”
  3. Variety. To showcase your professional range, solicit testimonials about all your services or about different types of cases.

Great advice dogTEC!
